Candidate will provide systems engineering support to the Naval Oceanographic Office.  Will develop or assist in program systems architectures, systems engineering plans, work break down structures, integrated master schedules, and test and evaluation master plans. Responsible for design, development, implementation and analysis of software products and system solutions; Performs software engineering design evaluations; Performs software development functions in one or more of the following areas: Software Design, Hardware Design/Systems Architecture for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Manages schedules and project timelines. The candidate will flow down customer and/or internal requirements to module level requirements, working with hardware, software and firmware developers to ensure that requirements are understood and met. The candidate will also work with customers, business development and program management to communicate the team's progress and help to resolve open technical issues. Responsibilities will include development of test plans, procedures and methodologies to verify compliance at integration test and system test levels.

• B.S. preferably in Computer Science or relevant technical field and/or 3 years of direct experience (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of systems engineering or analyst experience (Required).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (Required). 

• 2-4 years experience in or associated with a DOD acquisition program desired.
• Experience in DOD intelligence programs is desired
• Knowledge of Naval Meteorological and Oceanography programs is desired.
• Knowledge of geographic information system technologies is a plus.
