• Ensures that quality systems are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with standards.
• Coordinate basic and advanced quality processes, and assisting engineering and manufacturing with quality related issues.
• Recommend, design, develop, implement procedures and changes to procedures.
• Conduct internal audits, train internal auditors, coordinate external audits.
• Work across divisions of the company to introduce and improve levels of conformance to the Quality Management System.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers
• Reports to VP of Systems Engineering Organization

• Bachelors Degree (Required).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (Required).
• Experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality functions (Required).
• Led, or been a key member of, a team that has achieved ISO 9000:2000, AS9100, or CMMI certification for an organization (Required).
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings (Required).

• Bachelors degree, or advanced degree, in engineering or scientific area
• Supervisory or Management experience
• Experience developing a CMMI system, to Level 3, or higher
• Experience with First Article development and inspection
• Experience with US Govt customers
• Experience with Material Review Boards and Configuration Change Boards
