The candidate's primary responsibility will be to provide database administration support to the development team. Additionally the candidate will perform some software engineering duties to support the integration of additional functionality into the system and/or modify existing system functionality. The candidate will provide support to Operations and Sustainment.  Working, and practical, knowledge of Oracle Database administration functions, database structures and design; Develop and maintain scripts and programs for data exchanges and interfaces with external systems;  Coordinate format requirements for data interfaces with mission critical systems; technical lead for interface requirement issues; Provide general technical and network administrative support; Provide monthly status to the Program Manager. Provide metric reporting to client management; monthly status to the PM.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field (Required)
• Ability to perform any/all task within ORACLE/DBA lifecycle (design, development, unit/class testing, maintenance, documentation (Required)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience (Required)
• Active Secret security clearance (Required)
• Experience with object oriented programming such as JAVA, C#, C++, or Visual Basic (Required)

Must have database administration, including experience with backup and recovery; SQL, PL/SQL; Support of database synchronization; System migration and interface support; Provide technical analysis and implementation support for system and functionality upgrades; Experience with Unix operating system and Unix scripting; Requires working knowledge of hardware, software and system analysis.
