Work Performed:
Radiance directly supports warfighter sustainment in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF) and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF). As part of the fielding, supply and sustainment of the Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) and Eagle Eye force protection systems for the U.S. Army and for the U.S. Navy Deep Blue program Radiance logisticians have performed rapid supply and sustainment provisioning since 9/11. Radiance was called upon to provide engineering and logistics planning for the fielding of the first RAID systems to OEF in late 2002 and continues to support over 80 systems in both theaters of operation. Radiance personnel supply aerostat systems, trailer-based towers, mast systems, electro-optical sensors, computers and other electronics, helium–filled tank trailers, and hazardous material in support of RAID. Radiance logisticians participate in the selection, testing, and recommending of new equipment, upgrades, modifications, parts, and supplies for RAID systems. Radiance personnel manage the entire transportation operation for the RAID Product Office. Radiance has shipped over 1.2 million pounds of equipment by military airlift and another 100,000 pounds of sustainment material by sea to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Functional Area Lead: 
Mr. Pat Waller has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering with over 23 years experience in system engineering and logistics support to Army and Air Force acquisition programs. with focus on testing-live fire, range testing and hardware in the loop testing; air and sea lift of test assets, fielding, deployment, supply, and sustainment of force protection sensor systems for ongoing military operations. In addition Mr. Waller has 26 years in the Air Force and AF Reserve with experience as an aircraft maintenance officer.
