Delivers massive data throughput for realtime analysis
HOTLink II I/O Modules from Radiance Technologies leverage the HOTLink IIT protocol to reliably transfer large data streams at rapid rates. Our PMC modules transfer 8-bit parallel data across low-cost copper media at 1500 Mbps-more than three times faster than first-generation HOTLink modules. The low latency of the built-in HOTLink II protocol engine eliminates software overhead related to network protocols. By conserving FPGA resources and adhering strictly to the Cypress Semiconductor's HOTLink II protocol, our PMC modules support additional custom framing and packet protocol layers that simplify development during transmission and reception.
Built upon an Altera StratixT FPGA foundation, HOTLink II I/O modules store dual user-selectable configurations in onboard flash memory, streamlining the power-up process. Configurations may be modified on the fly with included API software to create turnkey solutions.
