HUNTSVILLE – Radiance Technologies President Bill Bailey announces executive promotions in first official act as the Chief Executive Officer of the company:

  • Kirk Deweese – in a newly formed position as Executive Vice President for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Strategy
  • Theron “Boe” Bowman – named Manager of Operations Intelligence Group (OIG), replacing Kirk Deweese
  • Tom Strange – named Manager of Intelligence Systems Group (ISG), replacing Mr. Bailey
  • Dave Diaddario – named Manager of Aviation, Missile, and Space Group (AMSG), replacing Dan Jones


Kirk Deweese announced as Executive Vice President for ISR Strategy

kirkDeweese-headHuntsville – Radiance Technologies President Bill Bailey announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Kirk Deweese, Executive Vice President for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Strategy. In this role, he will develop an overall Radiance strategy for ISR capabilities and develop the customer relationships necessary to implement the strategy. Bailey says, “Building customer relationships, recognizing real opportunities, and closing deals – these are Kirk’s strengths. This is a well deserved promotion and will significantly benefit all of Radiance.”

Theron “Boe” Bowman to lead Operational Intelligence Group (OIG)

boeBowman-headHuntsville – Radiance Technologies President Bill Bailey promotes Vice President Boe Bowman to replace Kirk Deweese as Manager of OIG and will nominate him as Senior Vice President to the Radiance Board of Directors.  Each year since becoming a managing leader in 2004, Boe rapidly grew his business area by consistently leading and exceeding revenue goals for Radiance. His keen business skills, strong team building abilities, and exceptional relationships with customers continue to expand Radiance’s excellent reputation and position Radiance for growth.  In his email announcement, Bailey says, “Boe is the natural replacement for Kirk. Boe also has a growth strategy for Army ISR and INSCOM, and the skills to execute it. Boe has the long-term relationships necessary to maintain and expand our operational intelligence capabilities, and is well respected within OIG, Radiance, and the intelligence community. Another well deserved promotion.”

As the VP of OIG’s Airborne Systems Division (ASD), Boe was named the Radiance Manager of the Year in 2011. ASD has grown to be the sole contract provider of the US Army’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) program management and multi-discipline analytical support for INSCOM’s worldwide AISR missions. ASD also provides program manage support with architecture design, acquisition management, and sustainment subject matter experts for the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A). Boe’s lead in expanding Radiance’s INSCOM support resulted in a 110 percent personnel growth in 2011 for ASD.


Tom Strange to lead Intelligence Systems Group (ISG)

William Bill Baily, Jr.Huntsville – Radiance Technologies President Bill Bailey promotes Vice President Tom Strange to replace Bailey as the head of the ISG and will nominate him as Senior Vice President to the Radiance Board of Directors.  “No one is better prepared to lead the Intelligence Systems Group than Tom Strange,” says Bailey. “Tom and I have worked together very closely for over seven years and I trust him completely. He and I have developed a long-term vision for ISG, and he is more than capable of executing this strategy. Tom’s business acumen is second to none, and he is a solid business developer and manager. Also a well deserved promotion.”
To lead ISG, Mr. Strange will remain located in Mississippi, where he previously served as the head of the ISG Intelligence Analysis Operation (IAO). The Stennis office provides trusted support to the Surf Eagle program, a program recognized by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the Office of Naval Intelligence and other federal agencies, as a premier example of providing outstanding environmental information to support worldwide operations. As VP IAO, he also directed ISG’s Ruston Louisiana office, Hattiesburg Mississippi office, Jackson Mississippi office, as well as a group at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).  Says Strange, “I’m very pleased to accept this position and look forward to a bright future with the excellent ISG team that Bill assembled over the past 10 years.  Bailey developed a phenomenal base line program with tremendous growth potential.”

Dave Diaddario to lead Aviation, Missile, and Space Group

DaveDiadarrio-headHuntsville – Radiance Technologies President Bill Bailey promotes Dave Diaddario to Manager of the AMSG group and will nominate him as Vice President to the Radiance Board of Directors.  “Since joining Radiance, Dave has served us well in leading key SETAC task orders and major proposal efforts such as ESP,” said Bailey.  “He has a vision for growth within the AMSG and the discipline to carry out this vision.  He has demonstrated the ability to work across group boundaries and will be an asset to the entire company in this new capacity.  I look forward to working with Dave in this new role.”

Dan Jones will remain Executive Vice president and will continue as the SETAC PM through the transition from SETAC 07 to SETAC 2010.  He will continue to focus and concentrate on new company wide procurements.
