Business leaders and elected officials, including Congressman Robert Aderholt gathered on Thursday, August 31st, as Radiance Technologies, Dynetics, and G&G Steel held an event to mark their collaboration in the completion of NASA‘s Space Launch System Core Stage Pathfinder Vehicle. The pathfinder vehicle will be used to demonstrate core stage operations and transportation, including routes for testing, assembly and launch. The steel mockup is 212 feet long and 230,000 pounds with a diameter of almost 28 feet. NASA will accept the hardware after it is delivered by barge to the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana.
