HUNTSVILLE – Radiance Technologies announced in early January that its board of directors has appointed William C. “Bill” Bailey, Jr. as President effective January 15, 2013. In an effort to provide a smooth transition to the leadership change, retiring President and one of the original founders, Dr. George M. Clark, will remain as Chairman of the Board. With the company ending 2012 with approximately $140M in revenue, Dr. Clark will remain on staff throughout the year to assist Mr. Bailey in posturing the company for continued growth.
Mr. Bailey, a Radiance employee for the past 12 years, steps up from Senior Vice President and Manager of the Intelligence Systems Group. Says Dr. Clark, “Bill has demonstrated a very good understanding of the Intelligence and Defense business, and is well versed in business development and proposal preparation (evidenced by the recent competitive win of the Air Force Agile Cyber Technology Program).”
